I started working in Christian ministry over twenty five years ago when I was ordained an Elder. Since then, my responsibilities have included serving as a Youth Pastor, Parrish Elder and Minister of Visitation. My passion has always been to bring a practical understanding of God's Word to seeking hearts through preaching, teaching and the written word.

I have always believed that Christian writing of any type is similar to sermon preparation. When a preacher writes a text, whether poetry or scripture study, they are charged with revealing the truth of God's word just as if they were standing in the pulpit and preaching on a Sunday morning.

I experienced first hand the urgent need for a practical revelation of God applied to our daily lives. Growing up in Pittsburgh's Hill District, I came to understand that the Bible's ability to rescue and heal is not just a theoretical theological concept but is necessary and practical for everyday living.

These feelings came natural to me as I witnessed my mothers life. Watching Dorothy M. Harper pray her way through life's circumstances taught me the value of a prayer life. From the streets of Pittsburgh to combat tours in Vietnam, her children experienced real benefits from the practical application of her prayers. Seeing things like my mother praying at odd hours of the early morning, because she knew when my older brothers would be starting their day in Vietnam, ignited in me a passion to share the practical realities of the Christian faith.

May God richly bless you as you grow in you everyday faith and the love of Christ Jesus. I hope you find this ministry valuable to that growth
